One of my professional goals that has become very personal is using my Art business to do good, to help others in need and make this world a better place- however I possibly can. I was recently approached by a local philanthropist to get involved with a very important organization Free Arts.
Healing Through Artistic Expression
Free Arts uses the healing powers of the arts to help abused and homeless children build resiliency and learn to trust and heal. All of the children in Free Arts programs have experienced combinations of family trauma, homelessness, and violence. To begin to heal, they need services including mentoring, a caring community, and an opportunity to learn new skills and express themselves.
I do believe the children of this generation are our future, and it is of the utmost importance to help empower the ones most in need. I'm excited to share with you that a portion of all RFA sales for the 2022 calendar year will be donated to Free Arts.
RFA is also donating a piece of original artwork (not revealing which one just yet!) to their upcoming annual fundraising art auction, Art From The Heart. If you would like to purchase tickets, donate or bid on any of the artwork on auction, please follow this link [SUPPORT FREE ARTS].
I am so thrilled to help raise money for this organization that has been helping neglected, abused and foster children since 1993. I hope you will join me! If you are not able to help out right now, please share this with someone who may be in a position to do so.
Art doing good. Art feeling good. I hope you are just as excited as I am that a portion of every piece of ReFashioned Art you purchase is going to Free Arts.
